From what I've heard she's still alive but it's still very upsetting for me. I recently decided to watch some of the old Disney live-action classics that I've never seen. I started with 'Hocus Pocus' with Bette Midler and 'Life-Size' with Tyra Banks. And oh my God, they were so fun, I can totally see why they became cult classics. Too bad I've never seen them when I was younger.
