Well, almost everyone will answer this câu hỏi "No, I don't care what other people think of me" hoặc something to that extent.

That's most likely not true, for almost everyone. Including myself.

I don't care about being POPULAR. But I do care about what people think. Why do people dress in trends if they don't care? (And no, trends do NOT just mean what's-the-latest-fashionable-style. It could be skater, goth/scene, preppy, etc. Sometimes it's because bạn like the style, but only up to a certain extent.) Actually, why do people dress nicely in interviews if they don't honestly care at all? Why would people start smoking if they really didn't care? (Unless they were just really curious... and not being very smart that day...) Why do people get nervous for auditions and/or tryouts if they don't care? Why do people get embarrassed bởi siblings hoặc parents if they don't care? Why do people want to look good in photographs if they don't care? Why do people try to impress someone they like if they don't care? Why do people say things like, "Am I pretty?" hoặc "I'm so fat" hoặc "I'm such a klutz!" hoặc anything to that extent if they don't care?

So the point? I don't know a single person who doesn't care what people think of them, though nearly everyone claims that they don't. I don't about some things, like the fact that people think I'm a freak for wearing two different colored flip-flops and having a pixie cut? I mean, I guess I may even be a little proud of being different. That means I still care. So yeah. I do care about what other people think, I just don't care about being popular. There's a difference.

I'll admit, at times I'm like "yeah, I really do not care," especially if the people themselves are rude, "sluts" and all the rest of it, if it's people who look like they're going to end up in the gutter because of alcohol and drugs, then no, I really couldn't care less because I know that I'm going to be alright in life whereas they will probably be 45 and still living with their parents and I'll never see them again anyway.
