Why didn't Sally Acorn appear in any of the Sonic series?

The Problem most likely has to do with the fact that she wasn't a direct product of Sonic team hoặc Sonic team USA. They probably felt they didn't need to use someone they didn't make nor really understood.(Nor wanted to pay anyone extra for, considering Sega's strict budget on them.) Most the game developers of Sonic games were too busy with the games to read the comics. That is why..., but also cause she's naked. X'3 Duh!~

She's so awesome, she would make all the other side characters irrelevant
