The Sonic the Hedgehog series was known as one of the fastest frames-per-second video games created in it's era and showed the Sega Genesis could out-perform the Super Nintendo in graphics performance. Yuji Naka was programmer of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis console.
