Someone in my LA class đã đưa ý kiến it once, and when I explained to him how mean it was, he just replied, "But gay means happy!"
I am not fooled bởi that. Why would bạn use the word happy to describe something bad? Gay does mean happy, but it also means homosexual, and using it in a negitave way is offensive.

I am honestly not offended bởi "That's so gay" even though I'm bisexual. My reasons why are a whole other topic, cannot be expressed in the briefest ways, and from seeing how passionate people can be about subjects like this someone may misunderstand my words.

What I will say is that although "That's so gay" doesn't bother me, I don't really like it that much either. It doesn't make much sense to me, and I have difficulty understanding how the definition of this world has evolved to "stupid".

I'm in my school's SAGA club (Straight And Gay Alliance) and we discuss this issue a lot there. My brother and his Những người bạn say it, and this group of people on my bus always say faggot and the n-word, both incredibly offensive terms. I want to stand up, but I've been bullied plenty bởi that group.

I have a few gay friends. I know that everytime something like this is đã đưa ý kiến that they die a little inside. One of my Những người bạn is a lesbian, she doesn't have a lot of confidence, so everytime she hears those three words, it makes her feel like an outsider, like she doesn't belong, that she'll never find love. She's amazing, and people can't help the way they are, it's how we're born.
