Hans: I mean it's crazy
Anna: What?
Hans: We finish each other's
Anna: SANDWICHES!
WHAT KIND OF A MORON THINKS LIKE THAT?
I don't think any of them are dumb
Anna summed up in general.
Anyway, none are dumb, imo.
as for the sandwich thing, that's not dumb, that was supposed to be a reference to Arrested Development.
and again have to agree with Crazy Rawr, you guys confuse impulsiveness/bad choices with stupidity. You also confuse gullibility with stupidity. Snow is not even particularly gullible. Naive yes, but she clearly didn't fully trust the hag.
Ariel, now, she's flat out gullible. She was aware of Ursula's dangerous history (at least how dangerous she was) but chose to believe her when she said all she did was "help" merfolk. She always takes Scuttle at his very word and doesn't even stop to see if that's the proper way to use a dinglehopper at the dinner! She hasn't got common sense and rarely uses logic either.
I love Pocahontas but I would also put her low for intelligence. She is wise and LOOKS mature, yes, but we don't see her do much of anything particularly intelligent, she lacks common sense, and she's not cunning either. (Not hating her, just saying.)
CrystalRing summed it up perfectly.
Well, as for you AudreyFreak, I actually think Snow White is gullible. No matter how much people try to deny it, she still kind of is. I mean, she fell for the wishing apple. As in, she believed it was a wishing apple. Anyone with common sense would have not fell for that. She may not be as gullible as people make it seem, but she still is a bit. Though she isn't so much of an idiot, she is very naive and a bit gullible imo.
Who the hell voted for Cinderella?
Ariel, on the other hand, does question her decisions before she makes them. Ariel knew full well what she was getting into. Remember when she first tells Flotsam and Jetsam, "No! I COULDN'T. GET OUT OF HERE!" Ariel is well aware that Ursula is evil. But Ariel is stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea. The devil is her father and his wrath, the deep blue sea is Ursula. Because of what her father did to punish her ( taking all the consolation she had to remain in the ocean--her collection of human stuff-- and destroying it), Ariel feels particularly enraged at him. It wasn't enough to marginalize her ideas. King Triton went too far when he destroyed the things that represented Ariel's autonomy.
Anna doesn't have quite the dimensionality that Ariel has, imo.
Never thinks about anything before doing it. Doesn't really think at all. Is all Id with no Superego. Just does whatever she feels like at any given time and doesn't think beyond her own tiny nose. Never considers long term or consequences, never reflects on her choices or actions. Just does whatever pops to mind and expects everything to magically work out without ever having to put any thought, planning, or effort into it.
Plus, she trusts the SO-OBVIOUS-IT'S-PAINFUL Evil Sea Witch to keep her bargain despite a) her reputation as being evil, b) said Sea Witch's GIANT GARDEN OF POLYPS filled with former customers who, "once or twice, couldn't pay the price," yet somehow this deal is going to work out for Ariel??? c) She sees how unabashedly eager Ursula is at the prospect of owning her soul ("You'll belong... to ME!!") and d) Ariel sees and hears Ursula exclaim "Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys!"
I repeat: Ursula has the reputation of being a monster, has a whole garden filled with "one or two" dozens upon dozens of former customers who got "raked across the gills" for failing to meet the terms of their contract, and does not hide how eager she is to own Ariel's soul should she fail the terms of the contract. Ariel knows this going in, signs the contract anyway, then is later SURPRISED to learn Ursula tries to rig her own deal???
I turned my Mom into a bear so I don't have to go through my responsibilites
I have a hard time picking who is the least smart though. But here's how I judge intelligence, I don't count wisdom as intelligence and I think lacking common sense is what makes someone seem less ''intelligent'' to me. Though that still doesn't make them dumb.
So that sums up my point, everyone has their own definition of intelligence even though intelligence doesn't seem relative, I personally think it is.
And about believing in the wishing apple....The wishing well worked. These things obviously existed in that fantasy world they lived in.
