What's the story of Bloody Mary?

My mom told me that Bloody Mary was the first daughter of Henry the 8th and after her father and brother died, she became queen. She killed all the protestants, so they gave her the name "Bloody Mary". I read in a book (but I don't remember, so it might not be a good answer) that Bloody Mary was a princess who would invite young girls for a sleepover and kill them during the night. Then, she would take a bath in their blood. But bạn know, every answer may be different.

There is an urban legend about her. I can't remember exactly but I think it went something like: there was a girl called Mary who was murdered bởi her boyfriend and his friends, they abused her and ledt her to die.
