a product key is kind of like a key through a keyhole... It's asking bạn for a product key because your computer was only using mocrosoft 2007 for a limited time... Now it's asking bạn to enter a product key to EXTEND that time.

Look on a CD bạn received with your computer. It should be labelled "Product key" hoặc something similar. And It'll have a 24-26 letter and number code on it. kind of like this;

that has hapened to me before. are bạn in the word documents hoặc office documents? the office documents askes for a product key so eather try going to word document( if thats not what your on. if so, try office document) hoặc if that dosent work, try notepad.it for sure will work so notepad can be like a backup plan.
