I never wanted Klaus to die. He is such a great character. I hate Mikael very glad that he is dead. But I am sad that Damon's plan didn't work. At all. however throughout the last half of the episode I knew that it was Katherine and not Elena.

I love Klaus and I'm glad he's dead, though I can also see it from his perspective and am sad that he died with his whole family hating him.

I knew something was going to happen to where Klaus wouldn't die tonight. He's been the main enemy since season 2 and I can't see his demise being a mid season finale. I didn't really get to know Mikael enough to have much of an opinion on him. But it was probably a good thing that he was killed because he definitely couldn't be trusted.

The instant I saw the stake burn I took my handds to the sides of my face and just let my mouth hang open while I thought "Now what?" What are we gonna do?!"
And I swear, I'm not kidding, I desperately thought as a "we," like I was part of the gang.

I had a feeling Klaus wouldn't die tonight. The writers weren't gonna let him die yet, but still I wanted him dead and to suffer so very badly! GGGRRRRRRRR! Hahaha! Well at least Stefan finally did something in that direction!

as much as i want Klaus to die i knew he wouldn't he is going to be a big part this season they would be no part to kill him right now and i am glad mikael was killed because he likes to feed off of vampires he would have eventually betrayed them

Not happy at all. Now I hope they will find someone else to kill Klaus!

I really didn't want Klaus to die - I know he ruins everyone's life, but I can't help but love him! So I'm glad Mikael died instead of him. But at the same time I think that killing Mikael so soon was pretty lame... he had potential.

I wanted Klaus dead than Mikeal then Matt, then Jeremy lol

don't get me wrong i wanted klaus dead(even tough i love him) but michael is vampire HUNTER who drinks VAMPIRE'S BLOOD, that's more danougress i don't trust him at all he would have killed damon,stefan,caroline,tyler and katherine only for being vampires or hypieds

I thought Klaus was actually going to die so i screamed right to my screen and started crying automatically, then when Klaus stabbed Mikael I was like "YES!!!!!!! KLAUS LIVES!!! YEAH MIKAEL! THAT'S WHAT YOUR UGLY LITTLE ASS DESERVES!" my mom thought I needed t g t a hospital xD

Actually that scenario fits me much better than Klaus's death. I'm really liking him and I really felt uneasy about Mikeal he seemed to be a big trouble later, after killing Klaus, so ... YAAAY :D
