I like both equally? Anime.comic and cartoons all have interesting styles and varied styles by artist. There's an anime art style I dislike currently and there's cartoon styles I dislike but generally speaking I like both equally.

Compared to 2D Western animation, then by far! More detailed and better colors and effects.

I REALLY like both though, but I've been drawing some cartoon stuff recently so its kind of influencing my choice here.
Anime has definitely influenced me a lot more though overall and my art style in general looks a bit like anime still. So idk maybe I should have gone with that one but I'm doing cartoons stuff literally right now and its fuuuunnnnn.

"Cartoon" also refers to a bit of a broader category than "anime" does- there's a lot more than you could draw and call a cartoon style than what you could draw and call an anime art style because "cartoon" is a bit of a catch-all phrase whereas anime refers to something kind of specific.

I like it for its detail and color and all.

I think it's prettier and there's more detail in character designs, especially the hair and eyes. Most Western cartoons just look kind of bland to me.

It's just such a pretty style. :3
