I almost always return it, but I certainly don't expect the return. It's completely up to them. But honestly, who wouldn't want to be my fan? *bats her eyes* ;D

Never return it. I just don't fan people unless I'm actually a fan of them. Hence me having 100 fans but being the fan of like 20 max.

if someone fans me and i have never heard of them, i don't fan them back
but later on i might see a funny comment of their or some really good content and fan them anyways so what does it matter?

some people just fan everyone, some people fan people for similar interests, some for a 1 good piece, some only fan people they really like and talk to often

LOL you don't need to be a FAN of someone, if you don't know the person or if you don't think the persons is cool or if you've never talked to them! I'm only fan of those people I know. The fan list should'nt just be about fan back. Then we could change the fan list to users list instead. I think it's so silly to fan back. I only do it, if I've talked to the person first.

Why is it manners? It's so totally not. If you fan back, then you are'nt respectful over to the word fan and your fan list.

Ok mizzlaurie, I've just fanned you because I admire your persistence in making your point although I don't really agree with it. I fan someone (or return their fanning me) if either we share the same interests or maybe it might be a comment or point of view they've made that I really approve of. But this is a bit like the recent question asking if people thank those who give them props. Some do, some don't.

i don't expect it. it's a pleasure to get fans, but I don't always fan them back unless we have similar interests, I enjoy their comments/added content, or we had a nice comment chat.

some people wouldn't like to talk to me. and that's ok - i can live with it. and some just don't want to talk to people in English or German - only in their own language - like my mom. there are many reasons why people don't fan back. :) well - is that such a big problem?
