Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an amazing series. There are 5 books(the fifth just came out)The first is the Lighting Thief, the một giây is The Sea of Monsters, the third is The Titans Curse, the fourth is The Battle of the Labyrinth, and the fifth and last book is called The Last Olympian. They are about a boy that finds out that he is the son of Poisedon and all of his adventures as a demigod(aka half -blood) They are really funny and have a lot of adventure and keep bạn interested the whole way through!

The Lord of the Rings are great books...(I've heard) I myself am đọc them and They're Great!

A series that I've really enjoyed đọc is the "Tomorrow when the war began" series bởi John Marsden. It's about a group of Australian teens who go out for a camping trip only to find that a war broke out while they were in the outback. They decide that they will stay in hiding and try and fight back as their entire families have been taken hostage.
There are seven sách in the series that follow the main character Ellen as she evolves from a young girl to a hardened soldier.
The series is very well written and I personally found a lot of wisdom in it. It is not about an actual historic war but the situations in it have definately happended somewhere in the world and that makes it extra interesting.
But the best part about all of it must be the different characters, who are very real and complex and bạn just bond with them instantly.

My recommendation for fantaisie series enthusiasts is the link bởi Isobelle Carmody. Fascinating, detailed and exciting read. It follows the exploits of young Elspeth Gordie, a misfit in her post-apocalyptic village because she has mental talents that are considered to be "mutations." She's sent to Obernewtyn, a complex in the mountain which is part prison, part laboratory. Elspeth, along with her friends, uncover the secret motives of those who run the complex, and the darker mystery beneath it all.

If bạn like a little fantaisie these sách bởi Jennifer Fallon kept me facinated! All the sách are interlinked, The deomn child series was written as a trillogy first, then she published the wolfblade trillogy as prequils after. Fine to read in order.

Stirling, it was really good- it's about all the technology in the world stops working and society falls apart, and people turn ravenous and form clans, and rebuild the earth and whatnot - was cool

I enjoy the Darren Shan sách about vampires, but unlike the Twilight books, these sách are about "real" vampires.
Also, the Indian in the Cupboard sách are really good. I'm not really sure what order they came in, but I just read them.

Hmmm... the Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series are REALLY good. That's pretty much all the good stuff I have, besides Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, and the Twilight series.

The best book I have ever read in my life is a stand alone called Unwinds. I know bạn don't like them but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Philip Pullman is my hero so I recommend His Dark Materials and the Sally Lockhart Mysteries.

Fruits Basket- An orphaned girl moves in with 3 men who have a secret. They turn into động vật of the zodiac! It's an amazing series. It's also the #1 shojo manga in the US.
