What Should I Do? (VERY long description, sorry)

I like this guy, and a few years cách đây we used to be really close Những người bạn (really close)I was falling for him hard. i think he used to like me (he showed all the signs)...but then school ended and he started dating this girl during summer... and that really wrecked our friendship. I still wanted to believe we were Những người bạn but it was clear it was fading away. They were dating on and off for a while.. and he became controlling. She was stupid for wanting to get back with him after he hurt her for so long.
I thought they were going to stop for good but they're back together and i told the girl i still had feelings for him. She told me that he supected i liked him....Maybe its clear that i should just tell him how i feel and not be shy... but i need others opinions. It would be greatly appreciated :)
