Also, you have no idea how many times I've heard this from my peers, and as much as I adore Mulan, "saving China" is not one of the reasons why she's one of my favorites. Every single time there's a video or other parody poking gentle/harsh/etc fun at the DPs, the Aurora character is always dozing off. :( A lot of people don't even know her name. But yeah, I've heard this one before in the teenage girl set. They like to sleep, and Aurora clearly slept of her own volition for half the movie, right?! So that makes them ~soul sisters~. 	AudreyFreak picked Tiana is my yêu thích because she's a strong independent woman who don't need no m: all of them though. and you should ask people about Aurora IRL- chances are they'll ONLY associate her with sleeping. not just there, it happens online too. for those Disney Princess Challenges on tumblr, for the "your favorite DP" one, some girl actually said this is why she relates to Aurora and why she's her favorite. No kidding. Ariel's is shallow and probably my other choice. the whole POINT was that she didn't like being a mermaid! Tiana's and Merida's are insulting and sexist, Mulan's doesn't SOUND bad on the surface but you know it's gonna be followed by "not like those other STUPID useless princesses who did nothing but wait for a man to save them!!!!" and know nothing about Mulan's personality. they just like her in a shallow way. they shame the other princesses for failing to be as perfect as she is yet can never accept the imperfect things about her. Elsa's is insulting and ignorant but usually people (like kids) seem to like her more because of the dress, song and ice powers. which is is annoying because you know half these people are the ones who complain about winter every year! At least the Mulan, Merida, and Tiana one are reasonable, although I have to disagree with them.
