I stood on the edge of the field, my sword raised to shield my eyes from the falling sun. "I'ts beautiful," I thought, staring out at the curve of the hills and the waving of the cỏ and trees, the grays and browns of winter, with the slightest hint of spring green.
I notice a movement off to my left and my sword drops to my side. It is the hàng đầu, đầu trang of a xe đẩy, giỏ hàng coming into view as it crested the hill. I sigh and walk back to the woods, knowing what would come next. The driver rings a signal chuông, bell viciously, clearly wanting me to stop. "Leave me alone." I mumble, I knew I should have stayed in the forest, where I could melt away unseen. The driver rings the chuông, bell again, furious at being ignored. I enter the forest and head straight in, if the driver thought to watch me, he would have seen an unskilled child with no knowledge of woodcraft.
After I was on the other side of a small rise, I turned North and followed the nearly invisible game trails to a grove of thick leaved evergreens and turned to watch. The driver had continued up the field on his original path. But as I watched, he swung around and went back to where he had seen me and rang the chuông, bell once more. Was he assuming I had only retreated a few feet beyond the wood-edge, and was now trying to draw me out bởi pretending to spot me again? I laughed, I was in the forest now, there was no way he could beat me in my element. I watched his confused antics until I grew bored, then I headed home, smiling. I have a new game to play.
