Chapter 2 : Birthday.

I was trying desperately to not let myself fill my mind with hope and excitement.I was imagining how we would celebrate.School zoomed bởi quickly. Just once, I wished my father could be here on my birthday.He was always busy! I tried fighting the rage that built inside of me, as tears poured down my face.Mother hugged me even closer. "Oh, Edward!", she exclaimed as she held me tight. "I really miss father.", I whispered. She stroked me hair and face as she slowly hummed my yêu thích lullaby. Martha then came in with the most delicious cake in the world.I held my breath concentrating on my only wish . I am officially 11 years old. I really wish to have my family together.To be one big family once again. Mother smiled and kissed me while, Martha stood there,laughing her distinctive,faded blue eyes wide with excitement.I couldn't help but laughing with her. I hoped my wish would finally come true. At this point, all that matters is my family.Mother and Martha.They are my family. They are my world.
