Nick ruined Winx (mostly about Season 5)

We've all heard about these famous nàng tiên right? In my last bài viết I mentioned my nghề viết văn this one, about how Nick ruined everything and everything was fine with 4Kids. I tình yêu 4Kids and wish they continued to dub the Winx, but since that hasn't happened we're stuck with a bunch of morons (Nick) who have crappy shows, crappy actors and no enthusiasm whatsoever. I have four different points that I want to discuss the first being:

1. Voices:

As I've mentioned before (and most probably all of the Winx người hâm mộ base have) the new voices are crappy. Hardly any expression is put into their so called "acting", and most importantly we grew up with 4Kids so these Nick voice "actors" don't suit the characters. Nick started dubbing from season 4 but what the heck was up with their voice then. Season 5 was slightly better but who the flip were the Winx's voice actors for the fourth season, they were absolutely awful. There was no depth and Nick were basically pulling a Kristen Stewart on all the characters. Yes, well, hopefully bạn get my point, I'm going to di chuyển onto point number two.

2(a). Icy and Tritannus:

When I say Icy, most people would think cold-hearted evil villain. If you'd only seen season 5 and I say Icy bạn would think Tritannus is Icy's middle school crush. Season 5 has broken and flushed Icy's personality down the toilet. There was even one episode that Icy was like "Why don't bạn two get it Tritannus and I are for ever. We are never breaking up, never ever ever ever." Something along those lines, Icy's like 24 not 10. Icy is supposed to be an independent woman and I liked that idea, like lovebaltor đã đưa ý kiến it would be cool if she was doing that for power but she isn't. bạn can tell. Clearly. Tritannus is also breaking the Trix up, the girls that together, brought up thousands of years of decay. Tritannus is basically a whiny baby with anger issues, if something doesn't go his way he'll use his little trident and stab it in the cause of his anger.

2(b). Copied plot

Now I've talked about the whiny đít, mông, ass and his memorized lovey dovey girlfriend, time to think about season 5 base plot altogether. Lets see:
Collect a few items to enter an all powerful location
Villain gives the Trix some power
Either 2/3 hoặc the whole of the Trix turn against him.
So basically Nickelodeon have ripped off Season 2 and Lord Lazy Ass.

3. Super long wait.

Now, I understand that Nick have other crappy stuff to do as well but come on about 3/4 months to finish off the season? Now that's not it I've been on Belgium episodes and I can faintly hear the fricken English in the background! Now before bạn ask, the foreign language is much louder but it's like they are talking over the English, so they have the English episode but they just can't get off their lazy đít, mông, ass to đăng lên it?! What the Hell?!

Anyway this was my rant on Nick and how they need to get off their lazy đít, mông, ass and đăng lên something. As soon as I got fanpop I felt obliged to write this, I'm glad I did so people can see my opinions please no hate. Thanks for đọc and have a great day. Oh and enjoy the Icy picture.

lovebaltor When you mentioned my point in this review, I became very happy. I'm so glad others are reading my reviews on season five's episodes :D And like everyone else has said, I agree with all your points. The voices is my major irk with the dub. They all sound the same. (Except for Layla and I honestly believe that the only reason she sounds different is due to that she's supposed to have an African American accent, or speech pattern) Icy and Tritannus...I've ranted about this and do not need to go on about how bad this idea is. And I'm glad that someone else sees how this season has ripped off of two! It's also ripped off three with Tritannus turning the mermaids into mutants. Never seen [i]that[/i] before have we? Another issue I have is with the animation. I saw that it went more computer generated in season four, but Nick made it more awkward and flashy with all the sparkles and it's just...no.

BFB101 I agree! Especially about Icy and Tritannus—I ship them together, but, it's getting annoying!

tecna535 I don't want to be mean but I disagree, nick is not that bad. The voice actors are really good and I don't see how you don't like them. The rant about icy is true and I have to say that icy has changed, and I don't like it. The plot is probably the same because thinking of a 5 story line is probably kind of hard and they have to take some ideas from other seasons. The long wait is a bit annoying, I might not hardly air in America, but here in the UK they just air season 3 and 4 so we don't get angry that its not on, so this doesn't happen to everybody in the world. So basically, if winx was on 4kids again, I would miss loads because 4kids doesn't excised in the UK, I would know how to watch it on my TV. [i]So, that's my response[/i]

WinxClub_Stella Don't worry tecna535 :) I just don't like the voice actors the others were extremely better. Meh, the story line still could have been better though. There is still YouTube for Winx, that's where I've watched 98% of the Winx Club, the other 2% being on Spanish Disney Channel. Thanks for you response :)

XxLalasaysxX Preach it tecna535! The nick dub isn't terrible at all! Their voices aren't nearly as bad as the rai voices. And since i grew up watching the nick dub i don't mind them. The nick dub started dubbing like a year or less after the 4kids started to. Nick isn't the one creating the story plot, the original did. (Italy) So the icy and tritannus pathetic love, and the so called copied plot are not Nick's fault. And the reason they did a super long hiatus was because they wanted to air the finale, and a beginning episode of season 6 together. Although that was a little stupid.

XxLalasaysxX And where did you watch the season 4? On youtube or actually on nickelodeon? If you watched it on youtube then you were probably watching the rai english version whos voice actors are horrendous. No one on youtube has posted the nick version of s4.

WinxClub_Stella Exactly, stupid, could they not of spaced it out? Then they put the air dates out, only to have it changed.... Again! Rai English voice actors are [b][i][u]TERRIBLE[/b][/i][/u] I hate them!!! I watched season 4 & 5 on YouTube. I don't think it was Rai because their voices were bearable. Not okay just [i]bearable[/i], but then again Stormy wasn't in season 4 to justify being Rai English. Stormy was absolutely HORRENDOUS, she sounded like an old women. :( And again I grew up watching the 4Kids dub so I don't like their voices.

Eiae WHHHHHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! excuse my language, but please don't tell me that they made the cold bloooded ruthless ice queen to a piece of shirtless girly gooo goo ga ga fool. Icy is the worst of them all. If she was thinking of leaving the witches to achieve unbelievable power than i can see that. she is a tyrant. she is not dumb shit. she will want to rule and be in power.she could care less for dat dumb romance crap. she is all about power and revenge on bloom. i want a rai version if i cant find 4kids voices T.T i would love to see fan making their own dub n dialog inspire by 4kids i personally think rai voice are decent but 4kids just make them look epic with their actors.
