I know that the Sea of Monsters is coming out in 2013, but I'm not sure what month. I think it's early in the năm though. Maybe March? I know that they're not replacing anybody, cause if bạn think about it, that would actually be pretty stupid, replacing the main characters. If it was a minor character to replace, I could understand. But, I don't think they really CAN replace the main characters. If bạn want to make a series of movies, bạn can't change the people's looks, and how they talk. Some people won't read the sách and will only see the movies, and if they go around changing the actors, they'll get messed up, confused and they will lose a lot of their viewers. I don't think they should make another "The Lightning Thief" either. What's done is done and they'll just have to continue on with the movies, maybe making them closer together. They actually might make the phim chiếu rạp closer together (closer than 3 years) now because with the first movie, they had to wait for reviews and to get enough money to even write the tiếp theo movie. This time, they won't have to wait as long; they won't stop creating the series of phim chiếu rạp when they only did two phim chiếu rạp with three left. Anyways, in 50 years hoặc so, if the books/ phim chiếu rạp are still known then they might make a re-do of the movies, but not right after they tried the first time. And this isn't really part of the question, but I honestly don't think that the phim chiếu rạp will be as good as, let's say, the Harry Potter movies. I don't think Rick Riordan is pushing the writers, producers and directors to stick with the book as much as J.K. Rowling did, so it's not going to be as similar to the books. Rowling, on one hand, made sure that the producers/directors/writers only hired British actors, even the extras like Cedric Diggory (played bởi Robert Pattinson, who is British). She also made sure that the actors looked somewhat similar to how she described them in the books. Riordan, on the other hand, most likely did not. If he did, Annabeth would be blonde and would always be wearing grey contacts- not just in the posters, the actors would be younger so they could grow up alongside they characters, and my long, long danh sách of the major things that they forgot to add in the movie would be down to a minimum five, maximum ten.
