Opportunity of a Lifetime chapter 5

After playing a round of pool which I Mất tích terribly in, it was time for bed. 

The tiếp theo morning I had the worst wake up call-slash-prank ever. The guys came into my room with a metal pot and a spoon, making as much noisy as possible. I am pretty sure of that. I just kind of rolled over and pulled my cái gối, gối over my head. 
Hey! Wake up! Leo said. 
I'll be up in few. I mumbled.

They wouldn't do that to me! I thought.  I am so jet lagged. I just needed some thêm sleep. I kept thinking.

Rivers had me thrown over his shoulder and was walking really fast towards the pool. I was kinda of scared. I kept thinking wonder if Rivers doesn't throw me far enough into the pool and I hit my head. I just kept thinking. I almost started to panic but then I thought why would I panic? I'm not scared of the water. I know it's a deep pool and that I'll be fine. 
When Rivers walked outside it was super bright. I had my eyes closed and it still seemed way to bright. 
Wake up, Loryn! Rivers said. 
I swear Rivers if bạn throw me into this pool, this will be the longest năm of your life. I threatened. 
Rivers stopped and set me down in the grass.

Okay I'm going surfing. Jake đã đưa ý kiến as he walked past me.  
I went and changed into my bathing suit and went and grabbed my surfboard. The waves were huge to me. I hadn't ever surfed big waves like these. These waves were like 7 foot and I have only surfed in like 3 foot mush. I stood on the bờ biển, bãi biển for a một phút hoặc two and then I paddled out into the line up. It seemed like it took me for forever to paddle out but when I finally made it I was exhausted. When it was my turn to go I paddled and paddled but when the wave finally came, I backed out. I was freaking out over how big the waves were. 
Come on, Loryn. That wave was the best one out of the set! Jake yelled. 
I didn't say anything back. I just paddled back into the line up. I was determined to go on the tiếp theo wave though. 
I saw, what look liked a good wave so I started paddling. I paddled harder and harder until the wave picked me up. I dropped in and pearled. The nose of my board went under water and I fell forwards. It was the scariest thing in my life   I had never pearled on my board before. When I feel forwards I hit the sandy rocky bottom hard. When I finally able to resurface I inhaled a big breath and prepared for the tiếp theo wave that was about to crash on me. When the wave crashed on hàng đầu, đầu trang of me, I hit the rocks hard, then all of the sudden I felt my leash get caught in between two rocks. I couldn't surface. I stayed under what felt a lifetime. I had a buckle on my leash and I couldn't get it to come undone. I knew if I started to panic I would never make it so I tried to calm myself down. I just floated and let the ocean di chuyển me. Finally I saw someone in front of me. I was getting dizzy like and my vision was blurry so I couldn't tell who it was. Jake's POV 

When I saw Loryn nose dive into the water I had a feeling in my gut that something was going to be terribly wrong. As soon as she surfaced I felt some relief but when she had to go back under because of the waves I  had a feeling that she wasn't going to come back up. I yelled at the girls to go get Bec and Gary and then me and guys went searching for Loryn. When I saw her surfboard sticking up in the air I knew she was hung up in the rocks and couldn't get out. I was worried. Loryn had been underwater for a little bit now. I was scared that she wasn't going to... I couldn't finish the sentence in my head. One thought like that can mess bạn up. 
When I got to Loryn she wasn't moving. She was just staring into không gian hoặc something. She had no emotion on her face and t scared me a lot because Loryn has shown emotion a lot here. She was always smiling and laughing. Her smile was so adorable.  I tried to undo Loryn's leash but I couldn't so I uncoupled my dao, con dao from my pocket and cute the leash off. bởi now Loryn had blacked out from the lack of oxygen. I towed her to shore. Gary and Bec were both standing on the bờ biển, bãi biển and Bec was on the phone I'm guessing calling an ambulance. When Gary saw me pulling Loryn in her came swimming up. Gary and I were both towing her to bờ biển now. When we got to bờ biển I started CPR right away. My dad was a lifeguard down at Bondi bờ biển, bãi biển so I knew CPR and advance some advanced medical stuff that he had taught me.

Come on! I yelled. 
Right then Loryn opened her eyes and coughed up water. 
Thankfully I only had to do CPR twice to get her to start breathing again.  
Bec and Gary came riding up in mule/golf car thing with the EMT's. They put an oxygen mask on Loryn and were asking her simple question. Then they lauded her on a backboard picked her up and put her on the back of the con la and rode to the ambulance. That was the last time I had seen her until now.....
