\'Supernatural\' season 10 spoilers: Writer suggests Henry Winchester to appear again next season
Published 09 September 2014  |   Kristin Mariano
It seems that another Winchester will be back for the tenth season of Supernatural, as the show\'s writer Adam Glass hinted that there is a lot to explore in the character of Henry Winchester, Sam and Dean\'s grandfather.
Henry Winchester, played by actor Gil McKinney, may appear again in a flashback next season. He was first introduced in season 8 in the episode entitled "As Time Goes By". It was shown that he died while fighting the Knight of Hell. Henry was revealed to be a member of Men of Letters. In season 9, he appeared briefly in "Mother\'s Little Helper".
The character was well-played, but it seems that there are a lot of things that need to be put out in the open. This makes fans wonder whether Sam and Dean\'s grandfather will return in the future.
In his Twitter account, Adam Glass posted, "Nuthin official but I would luv 2 C Henry again. Gil plays him so well and I think there is a lot to explore #SPN".
This could be true since the Winchester brothers have not fully explored the secrets of Men of Letters, and learning more about the organization could equip them with knowledge in fighting evil.
Also, it was reported that the cast and crew wrapped up the filming of the 200th episode of Supernatural. The episode is a homage to the show\'s huge fan base and was appropriately given the title "Fan Fiction". Actor Jensen Ackles revealed that fans will get a lot of the classic Impala, which is a fan favorite. The producers are expecting that fans will be nostalgic and the episode will definitely deliver.
Supernatural season 10 will be back on air on Oct. 7 and will pick up where the previous season left off – Dean transformed into a Demon Dean, and Sam will try hard to find a cure for his brother.
