why the heck did her sisters,Bubbles and Buttercup cut Blossom's hair in "The Mane Event"?

cuz while trying to un tangle a knot buttercup accidently pulled a một khúc lớn, hunk of her hair out and when they tred to cover it up they cut all her hair off! :) haha

They didn't mean to but Bubbles and Buttercup were playing with her hair and Blossom yelled at them for playing with her hair so they started fixing her hair. Then Buttercup saw a knot so she started pulling it and half of her hair came out. Then Bubbles and Buttercup started cutting it with scissors.
