It seems like many artists at the moment are doing covers of older songs.

Like all people, sometimes musicians like to sing their yêu thích songs, not just their own.

It doesn't really matter how good a song is. They're not trying to make it better. They just want to sing it.
ngẫu nhiên people sing other people's âm nhạc all the time. It would be weird to tell everyone in the world to not sing a good song because they're not better than the original. The same should apply to singers (because they are people too). Of course, when they sing a song, it will be released publicly because it's their career.

I personally appreciate all covers, no matter how good hoặc bad they are. An artist has the right to apply their own interpretation to any song.

well i think that they hav their own reasons for hát that song and those cuz be the ones u mentioned above.........BUT idk cuz i never really thought about that, i only like the covers of the singers that i like.......and i don't listen to other versions of the original song if it's not bởi my fave artists...

I know what bạn mean, but theres nothing wrong with a cover. theyre not replacing the original. it's still there for bạn to listen to

covers are cool, well sometimes. So say if Avril Lavigne did a cover of Paramore, they do it so Paramore know who likes them aswell as unfamous people, hoặc they do it for fun. It can be fun, I do covers with my friends, we do Green Day, Paramore and Avril ones all the time

Thats why I listen to Owl City they usually never do covers
