Well, let's see....
Pocahontas sacrificed her love for John for her family. (Which I think is REALLY stupid, because the whole time the arrow is pointing to John, and then she suddenly choses family over her path? Doesn't it go completely against what she's JUST learned?) And she risked her life to save John.

John risked his life twice and sacrificed his life for Thomas. Meh. Toss up, but I give this one to John.

Also, John risked his life every time he saw Poca, because Ratcliffe said that if he didn't shoot any "Indian" he saw, then he'd be hanged.
