They're both very close. I think the woman who needs 6 eggs does a really good job of encompassing depression and anxiety. We can see her pain and frustration that she just really needs those 6 eggs and she's so overwhelmed by societal pressures and responsibilities that she can't just "let it go" and be herself. But instead she has to keep all locked up inside and always has to be concerned about eggs and the number of eggs she needs. No woman should have to deal with all that worrying about eggs. She's very relatable to young women because we are always worrying about eggs and how many we should by. 4? 6? 7? Who knows? The answer is never clear and girls can really connect with her. I know I did. The eggs never bothered me anyway

^^ I couldn't have put it better myself. She displays a lot of strength of character and she is such a good role model to young girls and boys, well people in general, that need 6 eggs. They know they are not alone in the world. I'll look down on my first-born and say "Woman who needs 6 eggs in BatB, you were named after the bravest woman I've ever known."

I don't know, I think needing SOME eggs at all is what makes the woman so easy to relate to. She is FIERCE and SASSY the way she cries out for the eggs and juggles a bunch of babies at the same time like the queen she is <3 She’s too good for those stupid boy-crazy Princesses who don’t do anything but sing and need a man.

And when she finds that it's too expensive, it's an obstacle she must overcome by letting it go, which is something that happens to every girl in her life at some point.

Hence why the woman who needs 6 eggs is the best Disney character ever.

6 eggs lady's plight to secure more eggs, presumably for A MAN, speaks to the pressure all women feel to provide society with "eggs" of our own. And as a middle aged woman, her reproductive insecurities are especially sharp: six eggs?? Clearly she's overcompensating.
That there's such intense discourse about this woman (nameless, as so many women are) 20-some years later is a testament to her tenacity and relatability. Her agonized shriek is a rallying cry for women everywhere.
