Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladdin và cây đèn thần film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, hoa nhài does not represent Arab hoặc Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, hoa nhài is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. hoa nhài is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. hoa nhài is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from trang chủ which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. hoa nhài does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into thêm trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be Queen has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If hoa nhài had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became Queen and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. hoa nhài doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being được trao to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as hoa nhài did.

In addition, when hoa nhài first meets Aladdin và cây đèn thần when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes trang chủ with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows Aladdin và cây đèn thần is lying about what Abu says when Aladdin và cây đèn thần pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that hoa nhài "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to Kiss Aladdin và cây đèn thần but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had thêm self value, she wouldn't be offering her first Kiss to a ngẫu nhiên đường phố, street criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust hoặc not yet.

5. hoa nhài is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, hoa nhài refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for hoa nhài as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of bởi a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether hoặc not they are worthy hoặc whether hoặc not she could tình yêu them when she wont even really meet them hoặc give them a chance? She'd be a much thêm pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. hoa nhài is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen bởi her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, hoa nhài acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases Aladdin và cây đèn thần on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. hoa nhài is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When Aladdin và cây đèn thần compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which Aladdin và cây đèn thần says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's tình yêu and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like bạn and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to bạn and all bạn can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. hoa nhài is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of bởi a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether hoặc not they are worthy hoặc whether hoặc not she could tình yêu them when she wont even really meet them?

9. hoa nhài is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give Aladdin và cây đèn thần a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that hoa nhài is not a generous hoặc kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know Aladdin và cây đèn thần as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. hoa nhài is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was Aladdin và cây đèn thần the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at Aladdin và cây đèn thần for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both Aladdin và cây đèn thần and hoa nhài felt trapped bởi their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended hoa nhài was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American hoặc an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture hoặc of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her thêm true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that hoa nhài gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take hoa nhài seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had hoa nhài been portrayed thêm accurately, she would've been far thêm like Cinderella, Ariel hoặc Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and thêm modest. She would've had thêm grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate hoa nhài was portrayed in Aladdin và cây đèn thần was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the hoa nhài who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: Aladdin và cây đèn thần IS taken from "1001 Nights" hoặc "Arabian Nights". Princess hoa nhài is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

A Real Muslim Girl's Opinion (Whose Culture hoa nhài is Supposed to Represent)
A Real Muslim Girl's Opinion (Whose Culture hoa nhài is Supposed to Represent)
Bonjour!!! Over the last few weeks, I created quite a few số phiếu bầu which asked những người hâm mộ to eliminate their least favourite Disney Princess (including Anna and Elsa) hairstyle, and princesses were eliminated until the hàng đầu, đầu trang two. This is basically a results countdown of those polls, with descriptions as to why. I just wanted to say a big thank bạn to everyone who voted and đã bình luận why - your help was appreciated!!
This is not based on my opinion - if bạn are interested in my choices, I am nghề viết văn a Part 2 which explains my opinion.
Let's get started shall we?

've always loved the friendships and family relationships shown in Disney phim chiếu rạp and I really wish we could see thêm of them. While romantic relationships are nice, I've always loved the raw emotions shown through these relationships and wanted to devote an bài viết to them. This danh sách isn't really in any order bởi the way. I really hope bạn enjoy!! :)

10. Rapunzel and Mother Gothel

Hmm..I'm not even sure if this classifies as a relationship, but I just find the dynamic between these two characters to be fascinating. I tình yêu seeing how Gothel seemingly brainwashes Rapunzel and how their relationship...

"Last place?! Oh no you didn't!"
So... It's been a couple of weeks since I've written an article. All of the Disney Princesses are beautiful, just some of them are thêm so.

13. Jasmine
She's beautiful in an exotic way. I tình yêu her skin color and her thick, glossy hair. However, her figure is a little too unrealistic and her eyes can look weird.

12. Ariel
She's also very pretty, but she's drawn a little too cartoony for my tastes. Her hair can look really beautiful at times, and I tình yêu her eyes. Her hair can sometimes be too bright, and she's way skinny.

11. Mulan
She's beautiful, but a little plain. I like how they drew her to look...

xin chào guys! I've seen drama in the club, especially in the số phiếu bầu and just have enough of it. bạn see, drama is mean and it just makes everything seem crazy. Everyone has their opinion and bạn should respect that.

When people pick another opinion than yours, bạn get angry and tells him/her to pick your opinion! In the LEAST yêu thích polls, bạn shouldn't be like "LEAVE NOW" to the other picks because some people like that pick

Like I just said, Opinions are only someone's thought, and some people agree

My Original Thoughts
When I first watched Frozen, in late November, I loved Elsa.. thêm than Anna. I loved her message, her relatability, everything! She was a new type of girl to the lineup. She was completely different from everyone else, and I loved her! She was in my hàng đầu, đầu trang three forever. She took a slip hoặc two to my hàng đầu, đầu trang five, but she never graced out....

I held this same countdown not too long cách đây and I really wanted to chime in with my own opinion on the matter. I think all of the princesses hiển thị at least some strength emotionally, so I decided I couldn't rank them! Anyways I hope bạn enjoy đọc this! Also, my definition of emotional strength might be different from your own. After đọc some of the descriptions in people's danh sách for the countdown I realized that not everyone has a similar definition. ((the princesses are in a totally ngẫu nhiên order, sorry that this bài viết is such a mess...))

Jasmine's emotional strength is underrated....

Guilty, I'll say. I was a user who baffled Ariel with hate. I could see many flaws with her because a lot of people were pointing them out, but now I see she's just underrated. True, I still think Merida has a much better personality bởi comparison, but Ariel is gaining so much hate, it's starting to make me want to come to her defense.
Ariel is pretty guilty to my calculations, she was forbidden to go out to surface and showed up to her buổi hòa nhạc while everyone depended on her. Ariel did wrong things, but she does have some good points.
