Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladdin và cây đèn thần film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, hoa nhài does not represent Arab hoặc Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, hoa nhài is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. hoa nhài is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. hoa nhài is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from trang chủ which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. hoa nhài does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into thêm trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be Queen has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If hoa nhài had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became Queen and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. hoa nhài doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being được trao to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as hoa nhài did.

In addition, when hoa nhài first meets Aladdin và cây đèn thần when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes trang chủ with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows Aladdin và cây đèn thần is lying about what Abu says when Aladdin và cây đèn thần pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that hoa nhài "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to Kiss Aladdin và cây đèn thần but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had thêm self value, she wouldn't be offering her first Kiss to a ngẫu nhiên đường phố, street criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust hoặc not yet.

5. hoa nhài is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, hoa nhài refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for hoa nhài as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of bởi a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether hoặc not they are worthy hoặc whether hoặc not she could tình yêu them when she wont even really meet them hoặc give them a chance? She'd be a much thêm pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. hoa nhài is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen bởi her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, hoa nhài acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases Aladdin và cây đèn thần on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. hoa nhài is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When Aladdin và cây đèn thần compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which Aladdin và cây đèn thần says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's tình yêu and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like bạn and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to bạn and all bạn can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. hoa nhài is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of bởi a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether hoặc not they are worthy hoặc whether hoặc not she could tình yêu them when she wont even really meet them?

9. hoa nhài is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give Aladdin và cây đèn thần a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that hoa nhài is not a generous hoặc kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know Aladdin và cây đèn thần as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. hoa nhài is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was Aladdin và cây đèn thần the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at Aladdin và cây đèn thần for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both Aladdin và cây đèn thần and hoa nhài felt trapped bởi their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended hoa nhài was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American hoặc an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture hoặc of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her thêm true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that hoa nhài gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take hoa nhài seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had hoa nhài been portrayed thêm accurately, she would've been far thêm like Cinderella, Ariel hoặc Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and thêm modest. She would've had thêm grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate hoa nhài was portrayed in Aladdin và cây đèn thần was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the hoa nhài who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: Aladdin và cây đèn thần IS taken from "1001 Nights" hoặc "Arabian Nights". Princess hoa nhài is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

I'm on a heroine kick, the female, not the drug. After doing that bài viết about Jane and Kida, I decided to make my own official line-up of Disney Heriones and rank them while I'm at it. So this is sort of a danh sách and sort of a plain article. Anyway, I kinda set afew rules for myself.
1.She has to be human, but even then the only big losses are Lady and Nala.
2.She can be any age.
3.She has to have some similarities to at least one of the official princesses.
4.Two can be from the same film.So let's get started.

10.Eilonwy
Counterpart: Aurora-long blonde hair, actually a princess

So I thought I'd take a break from the official princesses and find các nữ diễn viên for the non official ones, the four main ones. Giving each of them a hàng đầu, đầu trang five danh sách is too much work so I just chose the best actress for each forgotten princess.

Esmeralda-Mila Kunis
One of the most respected các nữ diễn viên in the industry right now. Mila can definitely pull off playing a headstrong but beautiful leading lady. Plus she's got the same exotic features as Esme. Adriana Lima would also be a good choice, but there's abit of a language barrier.

Megara-Olivia Wilde
She plays a somewhat similar role in...

I haven't written an bài viết for a long time and since it's DP songs theme now I decided to write about my yêu thích DP songs from each movie because I don't really have a danh sách of my favorites, but I hope that's okay. Anyways, enjoy and don't forget to comment!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:

I tình yêu all of the songs in the movie and I've been having including the one I have now 3 favorites, before joining fanpop my yêu thích was Someday My Prince Will Come, when I joined it was With a Smile and a Song and now it's Whistle While bạn Work. I tình yêu it because it makes me want to dance and it's...

All right, here's the results of the Favourite Pocahontas Character Countdown! And also my first article, so take a look at the results and (hopefully) enjoy!

15. Ratcliffe
The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in Disney history. He's just greedy and doesn't understand the Indians. Nothing that makes bạn hide behind the đi văng with your hands over your eyes.

xin chào everyone, so this bài viết is about my yêu thích DP wardrobes. I´m taking into acount the whole wardrobe of just the original film, so outfits from the sequels are not included. I am judging the wardrobe as a whole, so even if a single outfit of the wardrobe is my favorite, I have to take the other ones into acount as well. I might write another bài viết later with my yêu thích outfits. As with other lists, I might change my mind later on, so here it is.

10.Pocahontas
I do like her dress, but I don´t find it that special and it´s the only thing she wears during the entire movie.

I don't understand why a lot of users on fanpop don't seem to like Cinderella. I think she is overlooked. People think she just sits around and does nothing but I think there is thêm to her than that. I think she is a strong character tho not as strong as the newer heroines such as Belle & Jasmine. I tình yêu Cinderella's optimistic attitude & she works hard to get what she wants. I think she is smart. She is mature. She is kind. It amazes me that she still has a positive attitude after all those yrs of being abused bởi her step family. I wish I can be as positive as she was. I think Lọ lem is a stronger character than Snow White & Aurora. I think she is the strongest out of the classic heroines.

10.The Chinese Recruits vs. Themselves
What can be said? This is a hilarious battle that poor Mulan started that resulted in a big pile up at the end. But it's not a serious battle, nor is it significant to the movie in any way. It's just a fun little fight.

"Hilarious, but not really significant. :P" (aiemerrysirius)

9. Evil Queen, Once again something related to Snow White is in last place, but for once that's a good thing.

8. Maleficent, as beautiful as she is on the outside, she is only a devil inside. I guess the reason why she didn't get eliminated first was because she was green.

7. Gaston, considered the most attractive male villain, but some consider him either too buff hoặc too hairy.

6. Lady Tremaine, some find her to be quite lovely for her age, others see her as a mean, ugly hag.

5. Dr. Facilier, he's just considered to be a normal looking guy. Some say he's good looking, others don't.

9) Ariel- Our princess of the tháng didn't get so far in this countdown. She's bubbly, sweet, and isn't happy with her father's restrictions (Although we learn that there is very good reason for them in The Little Mermaid 3). Some đã đưa ý kiến that she was childish, immature, and wouldn't take the job seriously, and with her somewhat reckless decisions and selfishness, most agreed she would make the worst Queen out of the princesses.

For sure, all Disney’s girls have amazing hair, but some are better than others. Here they are in order voted on fanpop:
 Cute, black and short
Cute, black and short

9.Snow White: last as always. People don’t really like her hair “black as ebony tree” probably because of its shortness. Although cute, her hair can’t really compare to others because there’s not much to do with, can’t make any hairdo of it, it can’t float on wind and it always looks like mass of something, not hair.

The scene where King Triton discovers her secret place and with that, Prince Eric’s sculpture, he destroyed the collection and Ariel was so sad is in tenth place. những người hâm mộ argued that is sad but not as emotional. This scene was not touching at all. My opinion was that I was angry with her father because he did and I was sad for her because this collection it might be took a lot of time to get her collection.

My opinion on which princess are hot and which aren't. Basically a danh sách on who I would bang.

10. Snow White.

She's a munter.

I suppose that's a bit harsh but she has the least bangability out of the all. She's just way too young, innocent and, to be honest, annoying to even consider. And she's not in anyway hot.

9. Cinderella.

She's pretty but she doesn't have any features to be considered "hot" in my opinion. She doesn't have a hot face. She doesn't have a hot body. And she doesn't have any personal qualities that make her bangable. Plus she'd probably run away half way through.

40. Tiana - high ponytail with tiara

I actually really like this hair style. It is kind of unique, because I don't think any other princess has a similar one. And I think the tiara she wears with the high ponytail is cute. I don't really understand why people hate it so much.
