Season 8 takes place 6 weeks after Season 7, and since the virus kills bạn in a day...there's no possible way Jack can be in season 8 if he's going to die. People are speculating he'll die in 8 though, I don't buy it.

From my understanding, Keifer explicitly said, during an interview, that season 8 takes place immediately after season 7. I believe he meant the tiếp theo day; therefore, it is possible that he may still die at the end of season 8, hoặc the tiếp theo day. Well, I hope he doesn't . I don't think anything is carved in stone right now. I think even the producers are playing with both scenarios right now.
Come on now, Jack isn't gonna die. Even if they DID do it the tiếp theo ngày (which they won't because they never have before), it's not like Jack would be alive for the whole thing. So the last half of the season would be pointless because he's not in it.
