I've wondered this before. See, I'm a neurotic nervous wreck and I immediately panic if someone gets themselves into any kind of possible danger. But on the other hand, I'm ambitious too and I would never want to be the one to stand in the way of someone and their dreams. So if I'd been a character in this movie, I'd have had a lot of conflict with myself going on!

I think, overall, I'd be pretty cautious but ultimately support Ariel going after her ambitions. I'd just try and keep her out of trouble on the way (not only with her father, but also all the stuff that happens to her with Ursula and on the land) and probably wouldn't want to really get involved. But I'd probably get protective and unwittingly get involved eventually, haha.

That Ursula one though is very practical. xD

I'd tell her not to trust Ursula
