I find it odd when people want more options other than male or female- you can only be one or the other? what else can you be? i'm just curious, as this isnt a question about sexuality or anything..

^ Um, no, you don't have to be one or the other. And frankly, it pisses me off that people think that way. There are people that are confused about their sex, people that identify as neither, people that identify as both. It IS possible to be something other than male or female. -_-

@FaN215: I agree with what MrOrange16 said. And additionally, having a penis doesn't make you a boy, and having a vagina doesn't make you a girl. And I repeat, some people do not have sexes. Some do not feel like either a boy or a girl, regardless of what's between their legs. Your closed-mindedness is what's pissing me off here.

Okay just to get my opinion out there, if you are born a girl then you are a girl. If you are born a boy, you are a boy. It's not a state of mind. It's a gender. Sure you can have a sex change but you were still born one or the other. I personally don't think it's right for people to change their bodies in any way with surgery no matter what they change, but it is their choice, but that doesn't change the fact that they were born one or the other. Just my opinion.

@Dwolf247: Your sex is not only a physical thing. It's psychological as well. They've done studies and have several theories floating around about the differences between male and female brains, and with most transgenders, you'll get someone with a vagina having a male's brain, or someone with a penis having a more feminine brain.

^ There's nothing wrong with asking for people's genders. The options just need to be less closed-minded.
