Never Alone part II- Stakeout
SilverWings kept her eyes trained on the warehouse. It was blazing hot, and she had long abandoned her leather jacket, hiding it in the tall grasses. Her eyes flickered to her partner, who squatted patiently in the weeds, keeping eyes on their target.

“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything hoặc to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”

i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked bởi a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, bạn just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the một giây verse.
"Jingle bells, Người dơi smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
"Robin laid and egg," I glare and stomp up the sidewalk, but the kids are still singing
