**Third POV**
Alfred paced back and forth in the parlor. He pulled out a small pocket watch, dangling on a golden chain. It was almost two o’clock. They should be here bởi now. As if to answer his thoughts, the doorbell rang, the sound echoing against the walls of the old mansion. He scurried over to open the door. Nine scraggly-looking teenagers, their faces sullen, hands on their hips hoặc folded across their chest, stood to greet him.
