Kaldur and Conner both entered the main rooms of the cave and everyone looked towards them with hope in their hearts. Kaldur lowered his head, and Conner looked away- a sign that crushed any glimmer of chance in everyone's mind.
A heart-wrenching sob caught in Fin's throat, and she lept from the đi văng and went for the depths of her room, ignoring the calls from her siblings and friends. Why this time? Why now? Throwing herself onto the matress, she finally let the tears spill from her covered eyes and onto the pillow. This was her chance. Sydney jumped up and swung her arms under her legs so that her hands were in front of her. Quickly she swung around, hitting the guard behind her and knocking him out. Ty noticed, and lunged at her. She quickly dodged, grabbing the key for her handcuffs off the guard with the few giây that she had earned. Before she could unlock them though, Ty was able to get back up and start kicking at her. Sydney dodged almost all, except one that sharply entered her stomach. Stumbling over, Sydney dropped the key, “Crap.” She calmly mumbled. Ty threw a cú đấm at her; she ducked and rolled under him. She grabbed the key and quickly unlocked her cuffs.
