As he watched her profile, Trevor noticed that Becca was on the verge of crying. He sighed and went to her. He grabbed her hand, pulling her to the bàn gently. “Come on baby bird. Eat it.”

“You persuasive jerk!” she shouted, pulling free.
Trevor smirked and wrapped his arms around her from behind. He picked her up and Becca squealed, laughter in her voice.

“You're the devil,” she breathed.
Trevor laughed at this and sat Becca into a chair. She took a sip of water, refusing to eat anything else he shoved at her.
“Eat,” he commanded.
