If I had gotten wet, I would’ve killed what ever pulled me under. I managed to wriggle around and got a look at who attacked me. It was someone I had been trying to avoid; someone who I was scared would find me. That same someone was the same person who pulled me up from the bottom when I had been swimming with Amphirite. It was Kalder, and I don’t think he wanted me to get away. But I had a plan. I always have a plan. I puffed out my cheeks, like I needed air. He swam us up. I grasped my little island, taking huge gasps of air.
