Just something I wrote on a whim. Sil, don't feel like bạn have to write a response to this. That's only if bạn think bạn may want to. Again, it doesn't really relate to her feelings now. thêm like the past of a few months ago. Hope bạn enjoy!!!
She sat facing the window, her back supported bởi the piece of tường there. The pane had been opened and a fresh breeze came in, entering her lungs and filling her with a strong sense of life. The ngày was warm with a cool breeze that came by, shaking the leaves together in their trees to applaud the sun on it's performance of dawning. Many people passed under her gaze, not one of them being truly noticed as her mind wandered to deeper places of solitude. Her hair was braided down her back, it's rich color shining in the sun's brilliance. Had it not been for the âm nhạc playing from her player, she would have already been kidnapped from the living and off to different worlds of enchantment. A plastic cup full of her yêu thích drink appeared before her eyes and she blinked, turning to see the onyx haired girl sipping away at her own drink happily.
“I thought bạn might need one.”
“What for?”
The other just shrugged her shoulders and leaned against the tường as she took the offered beverage.
“You were on my mind a lot recently. I decided to check up on you.”
“Oh.”
“Well...how are you?”
“Tired. A bit sore with the heat. Maybe a little confused.”
“Why confused?”
The auburn haired girl looked into brown eyes much like her own.
“My emotions and my head are at war with each other.”
Becca slowly nodded her head and sat beside her.
“Wanna talk about it?”
“Not in detail. I'm just.....I hate myself for it. I know he loves me; I know that I tình yêu him. But I'm so jealous of her. She went through the hardest time of his life. They had something. I don't really want to be the one who experiences everything with him; somethings we need to do it on our own. But I feel like I'm being compared to her on all levels.”
“By her bạn mean Whisper, I assume. Is Alek comparing bạn to her?”
“No. I am. I feel this desire to be better than her, to be better than myself. It's that feeling bạn get when bạn know what the right path to choose is, but bạn want to know what's down that other road. I want to know how I stand. I can't push myself anymore but I just....”
“You just want to be told she doesn't matter like bạn do.”
She nodded her head as a few silent tears left her eyes, tears she had hid to keep him smiling. Because she knew he'd end up blaming himself for this.
“It's not his fault. It's mine. I want to matter to someone. I want to be needed.”
She looked him in the eye, putting the voice recorder into her pocket. He just stared blankly back at her, the wheels in his mind working to figure a solution.
“I think bạn have some work to do.”
