There are a lot of video games that have anime about them. bạn have classics like Persona 4: The Animation, Devil May Cry, and of course Pokemon. And with new anime based on video games, like Phoenix Wright having a pretty good anime series, and with Castlevania being announced to have a anime some time in the future, it makes me wonder if there are other video games that could have some pretty neat anime. So, today, I want to share with bạn some anime that could have the potential to have their own anime. Now, before I start, there are some things to address. First off, I am only including games that have no sort of anime, including anime movies. That includes the Mario and Animal Crossing anime movies, so none of those. Secondly, they have to have originated from Japan, so no western game animes. Those are thêm likely to get terrible live action phim chiếu rạp instead of an anime. And third, only games that I feel would have the best appeal to be an anime. This may differ from what bạn want in an anime compared to what I want in an anime, but that’s the joy of having an opinion. So, let’s start with the list.
#10: Resident Evil
Okay, so technically, Resident Evil doesn’t have an anime. It does have an animated movie. Two in fact, with a third one on the way. But, they were animated with CGI. Sure, bạn could argue that Berserk 2016 is an anime with CGI animation… But we don’t talk about that anime. No we do not. Besides, I want to see one based on the actual games. Try to picture the first scene where Jill runs into the first zombie of the game, who then comes right after Jill, all with some neat anime art style. If I could picture it being like anything, here’s what I think. I think that the best anime to compare to a Resident Evil anime would probably be Hellsing Ultimate. For the first three games, which had thêm focus on horror, I could picture the characters and the zombies having a sort of Hellsing Ultimate art style, complete with the violence, and despite Hellsing having lots of action sequences, it can have some horror in it to. As for the later Resident Evil games, like four, it can definitely have thêm action in like the Hellsing anime had. Probably try and give it the same artstyle bởi Studio Madhouse. That would definitely be an interesting sort of anime to watch. Sure, with Sony Pictures having the rights to everything Resident Evil that goes into theaters and TV, it may not happen, but I really wish it could.
#9: Trauma Center
This won’t be the first Atlus game that you’ll see on this list. After the huge success with Persona’s 3 and 4, and both of them getting an anime (Persona 4 getting two different kinds of anime), you’d think that other Atlus titles would get much thêm love. Well, as great as they are, they aren’t as được ưa chuộng with the mainstream, and it’s this reason why their may never be a fully fledged anime on it. Trauma Center may seem like your typical hospital drama, complete with doctors trying to save their patients, and with a deadly disease that is killing people, but it can lead to some serious subjects, like suicides, child death, epidemics, bioterrorism, murders. If Phoenix Wright can make court interesting, and still get an anime, than I still have some high hopes from Trauma Center. If I had to guess what style it would be in, I say it should keep the style in had in the games. Technically, Trauma Center is an anime on it’s own, just an interactive one. It could keep the same art style that Atlus gave the franchise, like how Persona 4 was able to keep its art style when it shifted to anime. It could probably be pretty neat. The anime would probably be best suited if bạn can handle a pretty tense anime. And yes, a game about a hospital and playing as a doctor can be intense, and it isn’t easy, I can assure bạn that.
#8: Ghosts n Goblins
Remember Ghosts n Goblins? It was a pretty hard series that Capcom once talked about before forgetting you. bạn people think that Capcom forgot Mega Man, but try looking at Ghosts n Goblins. The latest game in that franchise was a mobile game, and nobody likes mobile games. Ignore all the sales Pokemon Go has. The internet says everybody hates mobile games. Now back on the subject, there may not be too much potential to work with to create an anime on Ghosts n Goblins, but perhaps they could do something like the old hoạt hình of the 80s… Just maybe make this a little less cheesy like those cartoons. It would probably be something like an anime for younger audiences, that has monsters and lots of fighting giant monster of the week enemies, with The Devil being the main villain, sending monsters to destroy a city hoặc kidnap Princess Guinevere hoặc something like that. As for art style, I think one that the same style that of something like the Fairy Tail. Have some simple character designs, but some pretty terrifying monster designs. Since Ghosts n Goblins isn’t exactly a violent game, and seems a little light hearted compared to some thêm serious Capcom games (As serious as their games get), I think that art style would fit nicely with it. Maybe if Capcom ever bothers to try and revive the franchise, we may get something like that.
#7: Metroid
Remember when everyone loved Metroid before Federation Force? Yeah, me too. Anyway, Metroid was a pretty được ưa chuộng game back in the day, and was definitely thêm mature and dark than most of Nintendo’s light hearted games. There was even a manga based on the game that help explained the story of Metroid more. So, why hasn’t their been an anime. Come on, it was the early 2000s. Kids loved không gian during that time, and kids loved video games at that time, and kids loved watching TV. bạn didn’t think that maybe an anime based on the hiển thị would be a great idea? Metroid would take place in space, probably having a lot of quiet moments, since Samus isn’t exactly the most talkative Nintendo character (Like all Nintendo characters), and she would most likely just be fighting an alien of the week sort of creature, which would come and try to mess everything up in some không gian station hoặc planet, and probably face recurring enemies like Ridley and the không gian Pirates. Now, for an art style. I’d say that it would probably be anything that was set in space. I can’t decide between Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Mobile Suit Gundam, so screw it. Any anime set in không gian would fit perfectly with the style of Metroid. I mean, you’ll most likely see blackness and some stars, so it probably won’t be much to worry about the art.
#6: Jet Set Radio
Hey, Sega. Stop making so many Sonic games and make a new Jet Set Radio already. Anyway, the cel shading of Jet Set Radio really gives it a unique sort of look. It may not be so easy to put into anime format, but I’m sure we can find something. An anime about rebellious youths spreading their feelings and emotions through graffiti (Because nghề viết văn and drawing just wasn’t good enough). With graffiti being illegal and resulting in public execution, the rebel gang of the GGs fight back with their spray paint. Sounds pretty silly, but what would bạn expect from a game where your characters look like the Blade Runner version of hipsters, what do bạn expect? So, for the art style of a Jet Set Radio anime, I would probably picture something bởi creator Hiroyuki Imaishi, artist behind Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, Panty and Stocking, but Fooly Cooly’s art would fit Jet Set Radio perfectly. That fluent style of phim hoạt hình and the different kinds of angles bạn could probably get with the skating would be amazing. If Kill la Kill could hiển thị bạn every angle of a woman that bạn didn’t even know bạn could see hoặc didn’t know bạn wanted to see, than I’m sure this style can hiển thị bạn all the angles of a Jet Set Radio anime.
#5: Silent Hill
Would an anime quite possibly ruin the feeling of Silent Hill? Well, bởi this point, I don’t think Silent đồi núi, hill could be thêm ruined than it already is. So, Silent Hill… It’s a pretty messed up game. Characters going through internal suffering of their own life, having to deal with the hardships of life, and suffering with their own issues in depression, hanger, and hatred. Meeting characters who are just as imperfect as they are and are all holding secrets from others that they do not wish to hiển thị to others. Monsters all based on the psyche of the characters that shows the true terror that lies inside them. Silent đồi núi, hill is quite a game. A very screwed up one, and that’s why I tình yêu it. So, naturally, there needs to be an anime based it. I rarely hear of anime based on horror games, but I really would tình yêu to see one come in the form of a Silent đồi núi, hill anime. As for the animation, I would like to see it look something like Serial Experiments Lain, which would really fit he imagery. For thêm human-like designs, I think that the phim hoạt hình style of Monster would work well too. They are both very good for a Silent đồi núi, hill anime, at least in my eyes anyway. Sure, the chances of a Silent đồi núi, hill anime hoặc Silent đồi núi, hill anything that isn’t a pachinko machine are slimmer than ever before, but I still want this to be a thing.
#4: Catherine
I đã đưa ý kiến that there would be another Atlus game on this list. And this is one that sadly doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves. được trao that most of the game is around puzzle solving and deciding whether bạn would prefer a mature hoặc wild girl. The main character, Vincent, is your typical loser who must decide if he wishes to be honest with his girlfriend Katherine, hoặc to have as much fun as he can with Catherine (You can tell their different because their names are spelled differently). He must also solve puzzles in his dream, and if he dies in the dream, he dies in real life. It’s kinda like that one anime that everyone can’t seem to stop talking about despite the fact that I just want it to die already… bạn know what I mean, right……….. Sword Art Online! There, I đã đưa ý kiến it! Yell at me now and ignore everything else in this article. Anyway, once again, I think the art style of Catherine was really good. If bạn were to hiển thị me just the cutscenes, I would have thought this was an anime. So, if they do decide to make Catherine into a fully fledged anime, I think that they should just keep the same art style from the game and use it as the anime's animation. Is that called being lazy? Well, I consider it being loyal to the nguồn material, with a hint of procrastination. It works for me just fine.
#3: Metal Gear Solid
To this day, I still wonder how Metal Gear Solid never got an anime? Was it because it was too close to American politics? I don’t know why, but I want it so bad. It could be the perfect action anime that we all want. So, with an anime complete with giant war machines that are all trying to be grabbed bởi terrorists, the soviets, and the U.S. military, different kinds of terrorist groups using it to either take the world hostage, destroy the mysterious Patriots that run politics, hoặc try to find some rare treasure bởi starting World War III, and a very gruffly voiced protagonist with all sorts of skills learned bởi his father who he was genetically cloned from. Of course that sounds like an awesome anime. While I was intent on considering the phim hoạt hình for Black Lagoon on this list, I decided not to, because that would thêm fit in an anime that is all action, like a Schwarzenegger movie. For Metal Gear Solid, I think the best thing to use would be the phim hoạt hình similar to Code Geass. I mean, Code Geass is actually kinda close to Metal Gear Solid in a way. It’s got a protagonist with questionable morals, it’s got political turmoil all over the world, it’s got war machines used bởi different groups, it’s perfect. Not to mention, the phim hoạt hình and the fluent character movements would really look well for a Metal Gear Solid anime. All of the crazy jokes bởi Kojima bạn could ever hope to see in anime form.
#2: Dark Souls
Yeah, bạn all probably saw this one coming. Dark Souls is just the perfect world to has as a sort of violent and disturbing sort of anime. With all the different kinds of environments from the rundown and abandoned Undead Burg to the beautiful yet empty city of Anor Londo. All of the disgusting and terrifying monsters are something that would be perfect to animate in a sort of style. And of course, who wouldn’t want to see that sort of combat take place in the world of Dark Souls. It would probably have to change a few things in the story to fit the anime format better, but Dark Souls wasn’t known for being direct with it’s story, so I think creating their own story would work well. As for art style… Well, since Dark Souls was inspired bởi the Berserk series, I think that it’s only fair that Dark Souls is animated like Berserk… And not that 2016 one. No, I mean the 1997. Sure, that may be a little dated, but it still manages to look impressive. And be honest, bạn want to see Gravelord Nito fully animated in all of that Berserk style glory.
#1: Legend of Zelda
Of all the thirty years that Zelda has been around, there hasn’t been one point where the Legend of Zelda has even gotten a single notice of getting an anime. Oh, but thank goodness it got that cheesy cartoon from the 80s. At least we got that, am I right? Anyway, the Legend of Zelda is a massively được ưa chuộng game. Everyone has heard of it, and everyone who has played it loves it (Most of the time when they don’t say that it ripped off Minecraft). It has so many different stories, so much characters, and oh so much potential to have with it. I think that, with it’s story telling, it could be like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Tell one story, probably start from the beginning of the Legend of Zelda timeline, and then di chuyển on to the tiếp theo main character. Even do the alternate reality thing like Jojo did with Steel Ball Run. But, as for animation, I don’t think the Jojo style would work for Zelda. I think that the best style to use for the Legend of Zelda would probably be something like Fullmetal Alchemist. The landscapes in that anime were gorgeous, and they would fit perfectly if they were used to hiển thị the places in the Zelda games. And the lighting and character designs would fit the world of Zelda perfectly. Now come on, Nintendo. Please let there be a Zelda anime. bạn already have a manga, so please just create an anime of it. I’m desperate here.
#10: Resident Evil
Okay, so technically, Resident Evil doesn’t have an anime. It does have an animated movie. Two in fact, with a third one on the way. But, they were animated with CGI.
