ocd I did the same thing you are doing with all the Harry Potter movies. I even started out like you are picking apart everything in the Twilight movie and let me tell you I can spot the differences more then most! From the clothes they were dressed in that didn’t match the book to the lines that were said. I finally LET IT GO! Thanks in a large part to my best bud Erica! The writers couldn’t take the book and “copy” everything into the movie. The book is only from Bella’s point of view. If they would have used only the book Rosalie would have had no lines. Just take a deep breathe and try and let what you think the movie should be go. It won’t live up to yours or my expectations of what it should be. I don’t think any book turned in to a movie can be. I’m now trying (not that I don’t slip up when I see something completely different in a clip) to enjoy the movie as the Twilight movie not a copy of the book. katlynncore the movie is not going to be as good as the book, but I don't think its going to be that bad! yea they're going to have differences, but that's to be expected. none of the actors are what I imagined them to look like, but then again I didn't imagine any actors for while I was reading, and they can't possibly find actors that look exactly like what every fan imagines them to look like. as I've said in many different comments, you should look at the book and the movie as two different things, that way you don't have to freak out over every little change. I'm just looking forward to my favorite scenes coming to life and at first I hated all the actors, but now I think they'll do a pretty good job. if you're freaking out over the movie this much, then don't see it. simple as that.

musiclikelove i don't think anybody expects it to be the same. i would be more upset if the movie was better than the book. the book will be better. and i don't like the way they did prom in the movie, but i haven't seen the movie yet, and either way, it won't matter. it's not reasonable to freak out over something so unimportant.

Curlytop_ The reason why some people are so obsessed with the movie is because they loved the book and are looking forward to seeing it come to life, everyone shows there excitement differently. I am really looking forward to seeing it myself. I agree about the crash scene I didn't like the way he left her but then I haven't seen what happens around it so I am just going to have to wait and see. As for the looks of the actors/actresses everyones idea of beauty is different. From the scenes, clips and trailers that I have seen I think that Rob Pattinson does a pretty good job of being a tortured soul. But at the end of the day not everyone is going to like it and there is probably going to be a lot of people really disappointed since they have built it up so much for themselves. For now I am going to stay hopeful, I will know in four days.
