did anyone actaully sign that petition for a another actor to play Edward, instead of Robert??

I was actually curious about this too. I remember back in the ngày when there were hundreds of petitions, twilight những người hâm mộ rioting, yelling that Rob wasn't the right guy to play Edward.

And being completely honest, I don't think alot of Twilight những người hâm mộ on fanpop even knew about the petitions, let alone been a người hâm mộ for over a năm hoặc a người hâm mộ of the books, not movies. I'm almost positive alot of them saw the phim chiếu rạp first and just became fans. Screaming, yelling, scary fans. Not all of them. Just alot of them. :)

But I do wonder how those who signed the petitions feel now. Rob doesn't play Edward how I would like him to be played, but he looks the part, and he understands the character. I partially blame the terrible scripts and direction for his portrayal of Edward. He understands the character. He really analyzed and really knows Edward, but in the phim chiếu rạp it doesn't always translate that way due to the build of the scripts and the director.

But, I still prefer movie Edward over book Jacob hoặc movie Jacob. I just had to throw that in there :P
