I don't count Samuel or the Campbells because they're Campbells, and they don't really want to be part of the Winchester family. But I do count Mary, since she married John and had the two boys, and I count the Impala, cause it's as much a part of the family as any of them, even if it isn't alive. And Adam's last name might be Milligan, but he's still a Winchester. He's got the looks and the attitude, and he's John's son and Sam and Dean's brother, so that makes him a Winchester in my opinion.

i see it as just: Sam, Dean, John, and Bobby. because although bobby isnt a blood relative, he's like family or a 2nd partner.

well it always comes down to Sam n Dean - even when they were little - Dean always taking care of little Sammy - even when they started hunting together it was just the two of them - then after John dies its like thing really didnt change for them - it was back to the just two of them - i think the famly is Sam , Dean , Bobby , and the impala

I started to watch just after john left so i say , Sam and dean (obvs) bobby and adam :)

Well, at first I count Dean, Sam, John and Mary, but now I see that Bobby and Impala are family too. I don't like Adam, so I don't count him.

I can't believe I forgot Bobby!! 7 then. Sam, Dean, John, Mary, Adam, Impala, Bobby.
