I remember visiting this website once...
It was called The Walking Dead Finale: morgan and Carol's big scene
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Fear The Walking Dead: Is Daniel Salazar hearing voices? by Adam Carlson
The Walking Dead: Season 7 premiere date still a guess by Susie Graham
Morgan and Carol are more alike than different. Their scene in the finale of season 6 of The Walking Dead deserves much closer examination.
Carol Peletier has become a huge fan favorite and resident bad ass on The Walking Dead. Poor Morgan Jones went from fan favorite to character most wanted to be thrown to the walkers in fewer than two measly episodes.
I’ve been going back to the finale in the wake of the Negan cliffhanger drama to examine more closely some of the scenes that were glossed over in the anxiety of Lucille and all the Negan tension back in March.
Carol and Morgan’s scene has so much depth that includes past, present and future for both characters. There is an expression about disliking things in others that we really dislike in ourselves.
This is true in the Carol and Morgan dynamic. They clash because they see themselves in each other and don’t like what they see. The sides of themselves they see are never at congruent times. They need to learn their lessons in their own time.
