The full moon was reflected in the clear, still lake.
He was sitting with his back to bạn on the beach, looking out in the water. The muscles in his back were flexed and tense.

“Everything’s gotta come off.” He calls from the water.

bạn meet Ponyboy when the water is up to just below your shoulder blades, arms still covering your bare chest.
He gently grabs your arms, pulling them off your chest.
