They did pretty well, being able to start such a lethal stampede. The outlanders seemed to have potential too, but we didn't really see them do anything particularly villainous, other than follow Zira around.

Funny how both of these groups ended up turning against their villainous leader at the end!

Well, the hyenas started out good by helping with the stampede, but by the end, they were awful. They ate all the food, turning the Prideland into a wasteland then they killed their leader. The Outsiders were much better though. They did fight for their leader even if they turned away from her in the end. At least they didn't kill Zira.
