As a HS English teacher who has taught the novel (the first one, I mean) there are thêm valuable activities than using it as a nguồn of vocabulary. (I know I am making an ENORMOUS assumption that bạn plan to use the words out of their original context! I apologize if this is not the case, but my suggestions are the same in either case.)

Three activities will follow this message. (Brief mô tả in THIS comment; specific learning tasks will follow.)

1=using language to connect the setting to history, mythology...and perhaps some psychology too!

2=focus on characters' names and speculate as to how these names 'evolved' from names we use today. Are character names important in the the "big, big, big" ideas the book explores? (Sorry, couldn't resist quoting Effie Trinket!)

3=Focuses on the differences in functional language (informal communication amongst peers) to compare the cultural differences between the Capitol and the 12 districts (the 'slaves' in some ways, aren't they?).

Three Language/Vocabulary Lessons for the Hunger Games1. Research the connection between Ancient Rome and Panem. The book does not state that the two are closely linked, but the narrative word choice, character names, and indulgences of Capitol citizens make this an un-disputable fact; Suzanne Collins did this intentionally. The assignment: find ten words, phrases, names, hình ảnh hoặc symbols that allude to Classical mythology hoặc historical facts about Rome in its golden age. (Hints: research Minotaur, Icharus, vomitoriums, city-states, 'bread and circuses,' to get bạn started.) This approach makes it into an interdisciplinary lesson, while still focusing on words and their meanings.
