Hmm. I think eventually it does. But only after years and years; like bởi the time he has kids with Katniss. After awhile he was able to tell what was real and not, and it looked like the attacked got triggered bởi certain things, so if he avoids those, hoặc overcomes them, then it's possible for him to recover from wanting to kill Katniss. He'll never be the same person though, just like Katniss will never be the same girl who fell in tình yêu with him. All the deaths and war made that impossible for either of them to go back.

I hope he recovers completely. It is sad đọc Mockingjay. It is probably my worst yêu thích in the series because my một giây fav. character, Peeta, isn't even like himself.

I would have to say No, not completely. In Mockingjay it states that he still has flashbacks. However, his unconditional tình yêu for Kat overcomes and conquers his distorted image of her.

I don't think so... anything that powerful from the Capitol wouldn't have died out, but he got better, I'm sure.

No, he was probably never the same as he was before, but he came close. When he was living with Katniss after Mockingjay, I think he picked up clues from her about who he was supposed to be, and eventually put all the pieces together to form most of the old Peeta. There were probably some things they could never get back. Like memories from his past who essentially made him who he was. He'd never get those back in their entirety. Also, he might have to pretend for a while, for Katniss' sake, that he was all better. Even when he wasn't. So no, I don't think Peeta would have gone back to his former self entirely, but I think he rebuilt himself with some mistakes that made him who he was on the end of the book.
