First off, I don't think you can go back in time seeing as that's interfering with fate. If they did that, then Percy would lose his curse, therefore making him lose the Titan War which is not what fate had in store.

I also don't think a god can take it away. If they could, then it would be useless. If a god can do it, then a Titan can too, so why didn't Kronos take it away from Percy?

That is why I choose other. Why I put a picture of a pie as the symbol for other, I don't even know.

Going back in time is a bad idea.

A god can't take it away, not according to Greek mythology. If you can just take away curses willy-nilly (I felt old when I typed that in) then why didn't the rival gods take away Achilles's curse from Achilles during the war? Or even take it away from Luke during the second titan war?

No, I think there's a better solution, like that purifying-at-the-river thing Hecate theorized about...

And really? A pie?

^^That's a lame excuse. Frank, french toast. And besides, we don't know that it is about Frank. You just made an assumption that he's French. That's no better than pie. =P

Yeah well I kinda agree with you about it messing with fate but I still did it because it's still a rasnobale explanation on how he looses it.

@pink-bookworm - Reasonable? I hardly think time travel is reasonable. The fact of the matter is, even if they could time travel, if they went back to the past and stopped Percy from bathing in the styx, he would have died. Remember all those times Percy gave credit to his curse for keeping him alive? If they did time travel, then when they time travel back to the future, Percy will cease to exist, in the land of the living anyway.

So no, I swear on my life - that's right, my life - that there will not be any form of time travel that changes the past in any of the upcoming books in this series.

No time travel! fates won't allow it! and Percy would have died when he was talking to the rivers(chunk of glass hit him in the chest) without the curse. So thats a No-no.

I think June will take it away or Lupa or something i don't know yet...

so I'm saying fates or some sort of divine force that isn't a god
