For some reason, I'm obsessed with finding out where the location is. For me, that's the main focus of the cover. Not the eagle-on-a-stick, not the ancient Greek/Roman temple falling apart, not even Percy and that weird scratch on his cheek even though he has the Curse of Achilles...

I really, do not believe that is the first chapter! I was expecting Rick to tell us, how he got there, and all.
I'm really dissapointed in him.

^^Well, it did say he woke up at the wolf house with Riptide in his hands. Then he met the wolves and they told him to go to San Fransisco. Personally, I'm okay with the chapter. I don't want it to be exactly like the Lost Hero. Besides, who knows? Maybe how he got so far might be explained in later chapters.

Percy___Jackson: He will explain in later chapters....that was the point of releasing the first chapter, to make us WANT to read more, so we buy the book.

i mean, don't get me wrong it was pretty good but i guess i just expected more from RR.

I read RR's blog and he already went on an Alaskan cruise, and he tends to write about places he's been to, so you know...
Don't get me wrong; I would be thrilled if there's some more action in Canada, but I think Alaska is a good bet. But Nunavut too, and Alaska is close to that territory...

PS- Iqualuit is the capital of Nunavut.
