Just cause I love Percy

Just because Piper annoyed the frick out of me and I could barely read through her chapters so I missed like 1/3 of the book.

i havent even read tSoN but I kno that PERCY IS FRICKING AWESOME!!!

I LOVE Leo! like, he's my fave character right next to Percy. I loved reading his chapters, and i sympathized with him about his mother and all the foster parents. Usually, i couldnt give a rats fart about character's back stories, but Leo? I couldnt help it, i felt so bad for him! Even so, I felt like The Son of Neptune actually got us somewhere, you know? Kickstarted the series. And we got to see Tyson, Nico, and Mrs. O'Leary! YAY! :D So, i love SoN, and Leo Chapters :)

The Lost Hero was boring and PERCY WASN'T IN IT. And Piper annoyed the heck out of me.

*Ackward silence* So...I'm going to guess that not a lot of people liked the Lost Hero as much as The Son of Neptune. I totally understand why though. I mean who would't want to know what happens to Percy and plus all the cool things he did. (Not going to mention them in case someone hasn't read the book yet.)Some parts of the book had me squealing (I do not squeal) so my mom and sister would give me weird looks. Anyway I just liked The Lost Hero more. Things with Percy just seemed a tiny bit rushed in the second book. I really like Hazel and Frank's backgrounds but I liked the storyline of The Lost Hero better. I just totally overused the word liked didn't I?

So apparently, thanks to Starlight1o1, I am not the only one who found the Lost Hero a more enaging book. Not to say I didn't LOVE Percy in SoN but at the end, I think it was only Percy that I loved. Frank and Hazel did bother me very much. I felt like Hazel's storyline was very stupid and the part with Leo was just incrediblely POINTLESS! I mean WTH? Hazel comes back to Hades to get a boyfriend THREE years older than her, which would be less wrong if she wasn't a 13 year-old player, just to find out that her exboyfriend had a kid. And I don't even consider Sammy a boyfriend! HE JUST KISSED HER ON THE CHEEK! Ok but even Hazel couldn't compare to how much FRANK bugged me! I really wanted to skip his chapters. I didn't understand AT ALL WHY HE WAS RELATED to Percy. He just seemed like a pointless character the was created because RR needed a son of Ares or Mars or whatever. I am being really critical right now. I mean it was RR's writiing that did let me finish a 500 book in three days (I felt like I was read HP again, I was going so fast) and Percy was brilliant though I do wish he'd remember how awesome he is. I like Lost Hero very much because the suspense was evident through out the book and really captivated me. I know everyone hate Piper but I found her very cute and they needed some more badass girls in the book. And everyone does crazy things in order to impress their crush. I personally thought she was probably the most relatable character for me. Leo was just amazing and mad me crack up several times though I haven't seen one person that could be his girlfriend let so I hope RR will let him go stagg. And finally Jason! I pictured him like SUPER HOT! And I am very into badass hot blondes (umm... Jace explains everything) and I loved him every much. After meeting Reyna, I think he should be with Piper because Reyna seemed like she didn't really care about him but just his title. Over all I loved both books even though it seems like I hated SoN of Neptune. I am just pointing out all the things I didn't like. I liked a lot too. But I have more reason to like LH more. Sorries!
