I don't know why people hate on Piper so much, but I happen to like her very much. So much in fact, that I almost selected 'hot'.

But seriously, why? She seems fine to me and in no way do I get the feeling that she's seeking attention. If Piper is an attention seeker, then Annabeth is bisexual.

she is an attention seeker. she steels cars to get attention from her dad hello!

^If you got to see your dad every 3 months you'd try to see him more often any way you could too, though.

Piper's not my favorite character, but I don't hate her. Sure, sometimes I get tired of hearing about Jason, but she helped Leo and Jason out a lot. Let us count!

1) Medea
2) The first Lyt-attack with Midas
3) The boreads
4) the helicopter for her dad
5) She was the only one with a clue about the giants

And in the end she did chose her friends before her dad, meaning she is brave.

Also; relatable. I can relate to her not being sure where she's going with this whole Dad or Friends thing. The fact she's not perfect, the fact that sometimes she doesn't want to or doesn't have the energy to fight makes her relatable. I can go with that, because I'm not superman.

And yeah, I agree with Hecate. So what if she wanted her dad's attention? It's not like none of us have ever wanted any sort of attention directed towards us. =/

Drew is the attention seeker. Piper just wants attention from her dad because, like Hecate said, she only sees him every three months. Piper is one of my favorite characters actually. Mostly because I thought I would never see the day an Aphrodite girl was a tomboy.

Piper is brave, I gotta hand it to her.
But she's just not a very interesting character, compared to Jason or (especially) Leo. So, in that sense, she has admirable qualities, but she's not as interesting compared to the other two.
Jason- amnesiac, mysterious past, a Roman surrounded with Greeks, the long-lost brother, etc...
Leo- hilarious, lost his mom in a fire, has Hera as a babysitter, resurrected the idea of Argo II, etc...

wats rong with you guys piper is awsome i agree with hecateA she was the only one who knew about the giants and she isnt an attention seeker she smart brave and for an aphrodite kid she kicks but usually the aphrodite kids just look at them selves she isnt selfish things like that in her own way she is as brave as annabeth so stop talking bad about her if you were in her shoes youd be exactly like that

^u don't know that for sure. diffrent ppl have diffrent opinions first of all. second, how would u know we would be exactly like that? diff ppl react diffrent in situations.

Anybody who picked attention seeker is wrong. I normally think that there are no right of wrong answers but the book states that piper tried not draw attention to herself and was uncomfortable with a lot of it.

Really^? I like Jason better because I think piper was introduced incorrectly by immeadately making her have a "boyfriend" and making her look dependent just if she started out single I would like her better
