Wel I guess someone from Modern Family will take the trophy this year. Ty is my personal choice.

He's brilliantly hilarious, I wish they had nominated Danny Pudi though, how the HELL they can nominate Jon Cryer for Two and a Half Men, yet completely ignore the awesomeness of Community is beyond me.

I do love modern family but seriously all 4 of them better than every other supporting actor out there! Cougar Town's Ian Gomez, or any of the community bunch could have been up here too!

How is Jon Cryer still getting nominations when his show stopped being funny about 5 years ago?

^The Emmy voters don't watch all the TV shows. Actually, directors and promoters from the shows submit 6 episodes to the voters and each one of them sees only 2 of those 6 episodes. So that's how they decide who's and what's nominated. The winning process is different because there isn't votes, but instead it's like a meeting with a small group of people choosing them. Or that was the last time I checked. Anyway, every TV series has its different kind of audiences, and you know, Emmy voters are mostly old people, so shows like "Modern family", "Mad men", "The good wife" are shows that they indeed watch IN THEIR HOUSES (and that they like to award). It might sound stupid or unbelievable, but it's actually truth... :S
At first I thought that was unprofessional, but then again, they can't be watching TV the whole day.

^thanks for that. I knew how actors & actresses were selected, but I wasn't quite sure how the process went down for determining "best series"
