i cried...again lol. dean broke my heart that last scene seriously it really got to me...and poor sammy :(.....on a possitive note though, cas and cupid were sooo funny, and i really liked the subtle entry back into the world of the apocolypse :)...it started out seeming to be an everyday case and it turned around and showed us it's ugly "end of the world" head.

all the eating made me a little sick in the stomach. not sure why but watching people shove food in their mouths grosses me out...that first scene was like a trainwreck i couldn't look away but it made me a little wozy :(

great sams back to demon blood... lets hope his character can still be saved from complete douchism again

*sob* Oh Dean...he seemed so incredibly alone throughout this whole episode. And at the end- who was he asking for help? God? Michael? He's so close to just collapsing under the pressure.
And Sam...I'm sorry but I have to say he is so badass when he's juiced up on blood. lol But it was so sad how scared he was when he realized what he was craving.
And who else just LOVED that scene where Dean calls Cas and Cas shows up and they stand there talking on their phones? LMAO
But I have to say this is the most disgusting epi they've had in a while- all the munching made me gag. Reminded me of a Carls Jr. commercial. :PP And when that guy plunged his hands into the fryer....ewwwwwwww!

I loved the Dean/Cas cellphone scene too! :P and crying!Cupid + comforting!Cas made me LOL!

Cas was hilarious. "They're not incontinent." that and the cell phone scene had me laughing for a good couple minutes. 2 horsemen down 2 to go.

there were some really good scenes and a lot to think about, especially at the end. i will be thinking about the deeper issues a lot over the break, what is going on inside dean, etc. BUT some of the gross scenes were really too gross for me, i couldn't watch, so i don't think i will be rewatching this episode much

however the scene where dean and cas are on the phone is AMAZING

i have had a really crappy week, but kripke really seem to know how to make me cheery again. i dunno if the episode was really good, or if it was just me wanting AND needing my supernatural so bad, but i loved it and it made my day.. and week! ;)

anyways. dean.. good god that man knows how to break a girl's heart. i sat there constantly saying "aww". my brother was watching it with me too and he didn't know what i was doing, lol!

anyways.. on dean again. i was crushed watching those scenes. he looked so lost and just.. NOOOO! my baby. i wanna hug him =( <3

Ok,excepot for some scenes,like the first for example and Cas eating all the meat(sory Cas you were kinda of gross),tha made me almost throwing up my entire breakfast,the episode was absolute awesome,Dean brooke my heart again,he even couldn't speak,and going through Sam like that again,he was so broken,and when Famine told him he was dead inside,his face....:( and I'm so sorry for Sam,must be terrible for him,but this time he couldn't do very much to avoid this,I think.btw Cas and Dean scene on the telephone,and Cupid handshake scene were awesome!!!!!

It's one of the episodes I enjoyed so freakin much!
From the start that opening scene was so gross but I couldn't keep my eyes of!!You can clearly tell It has Ben Edlund's writing skills and from all the amazing lines!!

Cas and Dean on the cellphone never gets old!!!And finally someone else does the eating for once..stuffed Cas was hilarious,plus he made Cupid cry,lmao!Was proud of Sam for telling about his hunger and was done with the lies!Found sexy when he used his powers again,kinda disappointed but very very sexy until the cam cuts to Dean's sad face and the teary eyes..then I felt bad..Poor baby they seem to make him cry in the last episodes.He needs help..At the end when he was looking up I thought Michael might appear..

I almost chose 'It sucked ; I hated it!', because who the f******* hell can they start hiatus after such a great episode like this!? Anyway, I love it, my sympathy is going to both of the boys, Sam because I really don't think he could do anything to stop himself (thanks Famine) and Dean because my boy is so broken *sniff* that boy just knows how to break a heart! And Cas! OMG, I love him, he's getting better and better, the carving was a bit gross I agree, but otherwise, I'm actually starting to love him! So all in all, great episode!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
I really though that it was another random hunt again. I'm glad I was wrong. The beginning was quite disgusting, but I guess I'm kinda used to it now :) Dean and Cas's phone conversation was just hilarious, so was Cas's junk food addiction when it wasn't that bad. Cupid was pure brilliance - he was a baby stuck in a man's body. But Sammy... *tear* What has the world done to you....? It was painful to watch him suffering. He didn't want to drink that blood... :( And Dean... "You're dead inside..." *another tear* Both our boys are so broken inside...

And now the long dreaded 6-week hellatus... Grrrrrrrr!

Ugh. I loved it so much XD Oh God; poor Dean. He was so alone & broken. When he stopped eating I knew something was up ;[ I wasn't that grossed out. It wasn't too bad actually. I'm more afraid of Family Remains O.O Yeah the cellphone scene was just LMAO. I agree I thought it was going to be one of those hunting episodes but it went straight to the apocalypse :] When he said "Your Dead inside..." I flipped out. Did anyone else notice the lip action we were getting from Dean? Love those lips :D<3 Sam. Oh Sam. Cant say much about him just that he looked like a total Bast (ina good way) I'm glad he realized what he was doing befor if was too late :D

Yeah...I'm a little confused as to how you walk away from this episode thinking Dean's a dick. Is it because he locked Sam in detox again? Because I'm sure that's what Sam wanted- after all, he's the one who asked Dean to handcuff him so he wouldn't go after the demon blood.
You are of course entitled to your opinion but I'm just curious what turned you off him in this particular epi?

i think sometimes dean is a little too hard on sam, but not in this episode. in fact, i think he was especially not-dick.

Sometimes I wonder how many people actually notice how badly Sam treats Dean 95% of the time. Seriously.

But back on topic - I didn't think EITHER of them acted like a dick in this episode, which is rare for me, since I usually think at least one of them is a dick per episode. (and yes, I can admit I usually fall on the 'Sam is a dick' side of the fence but still.)

If you're talking about Sam begging Dean in the panic room thing, it wasn't SAM .. it was the Sam!who!wants!demon!blood talking. He was going through detox, in which a person will say or do anything to get what they so desperately want. Also Dean didn't just lock him in there like last time, Sam WANTED to be locked in. (just like he told Dean to make the lock in good at the motel or whatever)

Oh sweetie, no fucking way. Just no. Dean is without a doubt the BEST FUCKING BROTHER EVER. His love for Sam is far beyond epic, just like him!

I'd really like to know what in the hell you're watching that portrays Dean as a dick?? Because the show I've been watching shows Dean as an amazing brother, a broken "soldier", and someone who would literally give his life to make it so that his family had a better life.

Example #1- Making the deal in AHBL 2 to bring Sam back to life. Hmmm yeah, I know it's such a dick move to give yourself ONE FUCKING YEAR TO LIVE to give your brother his life back!

Example #2- 5x13 [The song remains the same] - He [and Sam] was willing to never be born if that's what it took to change things for the better. How selfish and dickish of Dean to even think of giving up his life if it would mean his mother wouldn't die & his dad wouldn't become an obsessed hunter!

Gosh, that Dean Winchester... such a selfish dickhead! /sarcasm.

I LOVED the episode!!!I think it's my fave episode from season 5!!!I'm so freaking pissed about what Famine said to Dean about being dead inside!!!Dean CAN'T be dead inside!!!!I can't accept it!!!Dean praying in the end was heartbreaking!!I want to hug him and assure him that eveything's gonna be OK (when deep inside I know that it's not gonna be OK)!And poor Sammy trying to fight his addiction!I'm proud of him for not drinking the demons' blood in the ending scene and for taking all the souls out of Famine.On a happier note,Cas eating like a pig was so cute!!!At first when I saw him craving for the burger I was pissed but when I found out that there was a good explanation for his hunger I calmed down.

Am i da only 1 hu ddnt get grossd out by the Cas eatin raw meat scene? lol i thnk t was coz my screen was too dark so i ddnt really notice wat he was eatn which now im greatful for lol. But yeah this episode Rocked!! Da 1st scene n da deep fryer scene was too gross but i loved da rest :D Cas eating burgers n Dean not eating at all LMAO too funny. Cupid Hugs Hillarious n Demon blood Sammy kicked ass but aww poor Dean at the end :(
